Weird ebay problem with notifications.

I have a weird thing,if i go onto eBay on my p.c and put some items in my watch list i don't get the notification sound or item pop up on my phone but if i open the eBay app i get the red dot by notification which is no good as i don't even know its there.
But.......if i add the item the same way but go onto my phone and unwatch it then watch it again i get all the stuff work.
So the thing is to get notifications (sounds and pop ups) from eBay it has to be watched through my phone as it don't pick it up from my p.c.

have you set your eBay app notification in the app settings menu?

Yes mate all set up,i have to either watch it from my phone or if i add it to my watch list on my p.c i have to go onto phone and open ebay then unwatch it then watch it again like i have watched it from phone and all work fine then, i cant understand why.
i tried a test,picked 4 items and put them onto my watch list on my p.c,didn't touch 2 but other 2 all i did was go onto phone and unwatch and then watch again,the 2 i didn't touch no notification only the red dot above notification when i open ebay app,no pop up or anything but the other 2 fine,pop up on middle of screen and sound.

Any had this problem with the same stuff,never come across it before and i do hope someone cam help on this as it works just would like to know why do i have to set it up on the phone (unwatch then watch again).

have you tried the app in the setting menu on the phone? into settings, apps, into eBay app and look at notifications.
