Weird "glitch" in notification bar

I just noticed this morning that whenever I get a new notification instead of the icon appearing in the very top left corner there's an inexplicable space as if there is an invisible icon taking up that space (Even when I pull down the notification bar and the AT&T logo appears in the top left, there's a space between that and whatever the top notification is).

I realize this is minor and not necessarily something to be concerned about, but I was just wondering if anyone could come up with an explanation.

It might be the notification for the software update. It stays there until you install it.

I keep checking for an update and connecting to the AT&T server fails, so I dunno.

Never mind. I just happened to stumble upon it by making my google search less specific (imagine that).

It was the Persistent Notification option in the My Data Manager app that wasn't a problem before. I do remember updating it recently so I guess I'll shoot the developer a message about it.
