Weird green screen on S7 Edge

Okay, so this just started happening today.

When my phone is left unused, if I come after a while and try to turn it on by pressing the home button, nothing happens. It just vibrates, so I press the power button, and bam, everything fine

A few minutes ago, I tested this again, but now, when I pressed the button, the screen was black, then quickly flickered green. I then powered it up, and everything fine.

Is there something wrong going on? This phone is second hand and cost me way too much money to have it turn to paperweight. How do I fix this?

That doesn't sound good. How long have you had it. Mine doesn't do that, but on mine pretty regularly the notification pull down menu doesn't work at all.

I've had it for a month, loving it, but this really worries me. My previous s5 also had problems with the screen, and it was the main reason I switched.

If it's turning colors I'd return for a no chg replacement.

It should be an mfg defect. Contact samsung.com they have a chat window and phone number to call

Got the answer. The green acreen appears to occurr a few seconds aftee the always on or night clock turns on. Deactivate those two and the problem goes away.
