so i have recently bought an s3 mini and the display is just oversaturated and when i look closer it seems like it is pixelated and it is just awful. my s3 mini is the value edition so it runs jelly bean 4.2.2 and i have searched this issue and they tell me that go to display settings and change screen mode to natural or something like that and i dont have that option on my s3 mini I have read that this is an issue that is common to super amoled display phones. I had and s3 mini (but it is the GT-I8190 the new one is GT-I8200) before this new s3 mini that i have bought and it didnt have this issue i am thinking of changing the screen of the new phone with the screen of the old phone because the old phone is hard bricked and i cant do anything with it . I am writing this thread asking if you could help me with this issue and should i go ahead and change the screen?

Welcome to the forums!

Since you just recently purchased it why don't you just take it back to the place of purchase and ask them to replace it or fix it?

I wouldn't try swapping the displays as that will void your warranty - better to get the place of purchase or the manufacturer to own up to the problem and fix it.

Welcome to Android Central! How new is the phone? Is this something you noticed right away? Where did you buy the phone--was it a big reputable retailer, or an independent seller? I would wonder if you have a fake/knockoff phone, which is not that uncommon.

Can you show us screenshots of the main System Settings menu, as well as the Settings>About Phone screen? http://forums.androidcentral.com/am...ide-how-post-screenshots-android-central.html

it is new and i have noticed it when i was sitting home and decided to use it for the first time it isnt notice from far away but when you bring it closer you can notice pixelisation and oversaturation of the screen. I have bought this phone from an independent seller and no warrenty is given with it I am pretty sure it is not a knockoff and when i searched it seems to be a pretty common problem on the s3 and othere superamoled phones but the s3 issue can be fixed by the settings option changing screen mode to standard or natural this option is not available for the s3 mini :(. Here are the screenshots Screenshot_2014-10-26-10-53-03.png

can anyone help me in the screen shot the problem is not there but it is still there and i have tried a new screen still no luck help please

Without a picture showing the problem it's difficult to make a guess but if you replaced the screen and the behavior didn't change then it's got to be the mainboard. Your unit is just defective and the seller should have replaced it when you first noticed it.
