Weird issue this morning

Booted up my new G6 this morning and got a screen notification that my phone has corrupt files and it immediately shut down screen went black and would not power on.
I waited a few minutes and tried again and it booted up without issue
- Back to AT&T it goes this morning!

I had this happen the other day. According to some forums, it's an android issue not specific to LG. It has happened to other phones as well.

It was a weird event, and all my apps come from Google Play but I am exchanging for a new G6 this afternoon where I am within the 14 day AT&T period.
I am a long time android user and have never had this happen on any previous android phone

I'm sorry that happened to you, OP! I don't blame you for wanting to get a replacement device.

I haven't had this issue happen on any of my Android devices, either; but it's good to know that this kind of thing is out there, just in case.
