weird issue with Bluetooth audio

I don't know if it's just me or what but BT audio sounds really bad. I think it started with the pie update but my music sounds really harsh and low quality over BT. I did a factory reset and no difference.

It almost sounds like theirs an equalizer set somewhere but i don't have one installed or anything.

Anyone else noticing this?

guess nobody else is having this problem? i fixed it by downgrading to Oreo. definitely not worth being on Pie if audio sounds horrible.

I don't notice any issue with the audio on my PH-1. I've adjusted the EQ in Google Play a little, but it was just for personal taste using some of the presets, not to fix any underlying issues. I use an 808 Canz BT speaker, and everything sounds fine to me.
