Weird issue with one MP3 file

I have one MP3 file that I can't seem to get any app to recognize as a music file. I've changed what folder it's in, changed the filename, double checked the ID3 tag. Tried opening with the native music player app, with Winamp, with Google Play Music, and with a tag editor. None of them recognize it as a music file. It plays fine on my desktop in Windows Media Player. Any ideas?

Fixed or variable bit rate?
You can try resampling it in your computer. There are several free mp3 editor's for Windows.
I've ran into the same problem with a few of my files. Resampling them fixed it.

I know it happened with me too. What you can do is download media converter and covert the file to mp3 and then play the file

It's a fixed bit rate. I'll try resampling. It's weird, if I use ES file explorer and open the file with any music player it works, it just won't add it to the list of available songs in any of them.

Have you tried rocket music player you can go to the settings and rescan device for checking new songs

So I installed Rocket Player, and it picked up that song immediately (along with everything else). Thanks for the tip, I may have just found my new default music player.

Not hijack the thread but I have entire albums that the stock music app and the Play Music app don't even recognize. I've started using Poweramp and that does it. Still annoying though.
