Weird knight icon when factory resetting galaxy s3 (Verizon)

I backed up my phone and decided to do a factory reset. When I got to the last stepa weird knight symbol showed up for a few second on the left side of the status bar. I've done research and can't find this icon. It looked like a knight with a sword above his head and a gear for a shield in front of where his torso would be. Any help would be great. Thanks.
