I don´t think it is Peel. Can it have something to do about new OS coming out soon?
I love it when this forum provides an accurate answer. This stupid app was both driving me nuts AND was chewing up my battery. The good morning / good night screens started after the latest update to my S5, and I had no idea what it was or how to kill it. After seeing advice on the forum, I went into App Manager, disabled Peel, and answered "yes" when asked if I wanted to return to the factory default app. Problem solved. Now, to find a way to get Samsung / Google / whoever to stop including these asinine apps in their updates!!!
I don't have peel but I still got it. I was able to press "turn off" in the menu and it asked me if I really wanted to turn off "battery smart charge". It doesn't happen anymore. Mine had ads.Still dont think it is Peel. I have tryed to replicate it getting rid of it by using the option that was present at the top left corner of the lock screen. But reinstalling Peel etc doesn´t make it come back..been looking thru all settings and nothing.
