Anyone know why this photo is in my gallery? I must of deleted it 100 times but it always appears in the gallery.

Do you use the Pandora app? That's what it looks like to me.

Yes I do. Actually I was using it earlier. That could be it.
Why would the app place a photo of a P in my gallery?
Funny thing is that it's blown up in the gallery so I really couldn't see that it was a P until I uploaded it to this thread.

Some apps do that, but I don't why. Spotify does that too.

This started to happen after Pandora and Spotify released the latest update. Long press on the picture and check the whole path where it was saved. Is it related to a car maker? :)

BMW is the car maker for my Pandora picture.

Maybe you should go to this directory and add .nomedia file to it. It should help.

I've tried this and still got the Pandora picture in the gallery again today.

Now i'm not sure if its the right type of file. But it was an empty text file and now the file says ".nomedia.txt"

if that's what is causing the issue i'm not sure how to get the .txt off of it.

Ok so i've apparently fixed the issue following the advice above with the .nomedia file.

Go into this thread: http://forums.androidcentral.com/samsung-galaxy-s6/641379-pandora-app-creating-album-my-gallery.html

There's a post by lucianus_luciferus. he posted a link to an empty file. Download it.

You will have to download a file managing software app. I used Astro. Move the file you downloaded to the bmw folder > com.pandora.andoird area. Once it's there, go into view settings > advanced > show hidden files. Then change the file name to .nomedia

It will not try to add the .txt on it or anything.

Doing this has since worked for me.

I hope this helps.
