This morning on the way to work my phone froze on a website hard core.

Did a hard reset. Sluggish.

Cleared cache and reset. Seems like normal again.

Now however, when I send say a text message, I get a very faint audible click even though phone sounds are disabled.

Kinda cant decide if I should be worried about it or not.

Have you checked under >Settings>Sound & Notification>Other Sounds>and turned off Touch Sounds ?

Thats the first thing I thought of from reading your post to ask

yup

this is almost like a mechanical clicking sound...like static electricity making the speaker move or something.

I have a weird issue. I am unable to use the mobile hotspot feature, which is weird because I was able to use it on my Moto G 2015. I am on cricket wireless

That's weird. I tried it this morning and I do hear a slight sound coming from both of my speakers. It's a very light pop sound. Never noticed it before. Thanks :(
