There are some spots (big ones, imo) on my phone's screen that are a dark purple and it looks exactly like someone spilled ink all over my phone then tried to wipe it off. There's also some tiny colored lines going up and down my phone's screen. Some L-shaped, almost box-shaped lines around the middle. There are some thick black bars going horizontally across almost a quarter of the lower part of my screen over the 'ink spot'.
I've tried taking the battery and micro sd card out, turning it on in safe mode, a factory reset, and I'm not sure where to go from here. I can't call any repair shops right now because it's a sunday evening.
I haven't dropped it at all. All it was doing was charging, untouched. It was working earlier today... At first I couldn't turn the screen on at all; it was all black with a few pixels jutting in once in a while, but I could still use it. I could still open apps and change my volume. I guess I 'fixed' that by taking my sd card out (I read somewhere that that could cause that issue). Still there was this spot at the bottom of the screen, and it was no where near the size it is now (roughly a bit bigger than a quarter). So it's noticeably getting bigger. It's only been a few hours since this started.
My only guess at the problem is that I was using an intuos5 tablet connected to a laptop very close by. It wasn't wirelessly connected to the laptop, but it did have the wireless chip in. The tablet also seems to interfere with the laptop's touchpad, but that's a different story. I also had an HDMI cable plugged into the laptop, if that even matters. Even if that's WHY it's doing this, I still don't know what to do about it.
I just really want this to be fixed, or at least diagnosed so I can know how much it'll be to fix it...
