weird settings

just a bit ago, i was going through my phone through the settings to delete apps. When I clicked uninstall on one app, the screen went back to my home screen and now the settings icon is no longer available to me. I try to click it and it says "the linked program is no longer installed on your phone".

When I go to the top tool bar and go to quick settings and then try to click on all settings it says "The application status bar (processcom.android.systemui) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again" and then the only option i have is to click force close.

Someone pleaseeee help me! I just want my settings option back!

Factory data reset. Hold the volume rocker down while turning the power on. You'll get a white screen. Choose reset to factor select yes ans start from the beginning.

It was just a stupid app. called funny quotes. My phone is updating now. Hopefully this works!
