Weird Texting Bug

I am having a weird issue with my LTE related to texts. This morning I restarted my phone and then a little bit later I got a couple text from some friends asking what I was talking about. I went into Handcent and looked at my conversations and found one text, which I sent on 6/5 or 6/6, was either resent or just sent for the first time this morning following the restart of the phone.

Has anyone else experienced this issue on their EVO LTE? Any idea how to fix this?

Oh man, I get similar issues constantly with Handcent. I'll send a message, then go back to the app a while later because I never received a response. The spinning loop will still be there, indicating that the message is still trying to send.

Once that happened, but the message actually went through.

I've had instances where I will text my girlfriend during the day, then I'll get home at night from work, and she'll suddenly receive a whole bunch of old messages from me.

I think I've also encountered the rebooting one that you mentioned as well. I'm reasonably sure that these are Handcent issues, more than EVO issues, but I could be wrong.

I'm rolling stock for now and haven't had this issue...could be Handcent.
