Weird WiFi battery issue

Could this be caused by Facebook because prior to (re)installing it my battery life was far better? (Like 6h 55m SOT...)

Might I add for 6 hours wifi was off as was scanning.

Some Moto devices suffered a WiFi drain after the Marshmallow update. You could try these steps.
