Weirdest thing happened when flashing back to stock

I've been flashing gab and ics roms for months and then decided to revert back to stock and another froyo 2.2.1 rom. Both times, same problem, SD card keeps checking for errors, and Activity Manager repeatedly force closes. Is there something on my SD card it doesn't like or what?!? As soon as I remove the card it runs flawless, pop it in and it gets lethargic and keeps rebooting. Anyone can help.

Strange problem. I'd try backing up the sd and reformat from recovery

But what's weird is that it causes no issues whatsoever in GB or ICS roms.

It's about all I got for ya..... Maybe if you use an sd-ext you could repartition it too
