Just an hour or so, there was alot of pent up rage and snippy answers to "dumb threads". Lots of personal attacks too.

After a very short time the WORD went out there is a VERY noticable change in general attitude in here. Everyone is giddy with excitement and rightly so. The mods in here will have a much needed break from watching this place so closely.

What you guys think of the sudden shift in attitude?

I want to talk about hacking this sucker now and am glad we can open a new chapter in the Verizon Nexus forum.

I agree with the sentiment that it's a welcome change. Even with all the hating going on in this forum over the last month or so, I wasn't about to up and leave.
Now that we know for certain that Verizon plans to release it tomorrow (and not just unconfirmed rumors, leaks, and "I called a store and was told it's coming Tuesday" stories), we can all calm down and plan the next chapter.

its been the most entertaining thing for a long time. This could be a book / movie like someone said. so many twists and turns it was awesome. there were gangs and @#$#@$@ attacks it was hilarious and I loved every second of it.

The news went up and I immediately heard all those cheesy party songs they play at weddings in my head. Seemed fitting though. Things should be much more relaxed and happy round here for the next 14 hours or so.

I think there was a lot of pent up frustration not only from lack of a release date, but a lack of anything from Verizon. Now that a dare has finally been announced, there's a sense of relief, and given that confirmed date is tomorrow, excitement too

Interesting story. @AshleyEsqueda asked Verizon to release the phone today. I replied to that tweet and told them to listen to her because she knows what she's talking about. And she's hot. Sure enough, they listened. Her response? She told me it was because of the boobs.

So all this time, all we had to do was send in a hot chick with a rack and we could have had this phone. We'll know for next time.
