I was in Baltimore at a hotel. My wife and I were at the bar. The bar was full of Yankee fans watching the end of the Yankees / Orioles game. I pointed out the Blue Label (in a locked glass display) to my wife and explained what it was. She asked the bar tender how much. $40 a shot. Yeah, they knew the Yankee$$$ were in town too. LOL

lol, Its 340 dollars a bottle, I normally drink Johnny black. So my buddy takes me an the fiancce out for a nice steak dinner at a posh resturant for my B-day, I order a double Johnny on the rocks. He looked at the bill an bout shat ! 91 dollars for my drink, and I had two of them and didn't know the whole time, just thought wow this is really great scotch!
Needless to say I couldn't let him pay for that, but being the great friend he is refused me, citing it was my B-day.
Ill prolly give him my kidney for his LOL

R.A. Dickey was pitching for the NY Mets so, I had to watch. The guy is an honest to goodness, feel good story. The plus side is, he's a knuckleball pitcher and they're always fun to watch. Best of all, they won!

Watching recaps of the night's games on SNY. Reveling in the Mets being 3-1 but, realistic enough to know this will be another tough season. Hope springs eternal!

Spring feeling is pretty much in the air, despite the drawn out cold days we've been getting (NY) here.

If yesterday is to be believed, then Terry Collins is a Wally-ball type coach. He finally did what many of us fans were screaming for them to do last year. Shorten up that swing. Scatter the ball. Hit it where they ain't. LOL
