Well...3 verizon stores and not one has the V30.

Verizon is all in on the Pixel. No telling how much they paid google for the exclusive.
They are only stocking V30 in 1 color, never even bothered with a "coming soon" blast or anything on their website, priced the phone the highest, the employees are clueless on it. They are giving no effort here and it shows.

I tried ordering mine from Verizon online Wed. night. There was a pick up in-store option prominently displayed on the product page and it even showed the number of units at nearby stores (was only 1 or 2 per location). However, on the checkout page I only was presented with shipping options. I got on chat with customer service and they told me it's only in pre-order status. I said that's not correct because the product page clearly featured an in-store pick up option. Eventually it got past midnight and was the official release day but still not change. The $200 Visa gift card said it was only for online orders and I didn't want to forgo that by buying in a store. I ended up calling customer service yesterday morning and an excellent rep helped me out. He went on to explain that the in-store pick up option wasn't working on the checkout page because inventory was too low. I placed my order through him and my V30 is getting delivered today. I can barely wait!

I finally got some hands on time with the V30 at an AT&T store and boy was I impressed. I think the feel in hand minus the security tethers felt very nice. I really love the size and the fact that its as light as it is to me seem to make it less of a drop hazard. I really can't wait to get my own now. The V20 has been really great to me and I feel bad for wanting to upgrade but at the end of the day it's just technology. You upgrade and move on if it suites you and from what I'm seeing the V30 suites me just fine. Plus T-Mobile does get the silver color which looks gorgeous.

I stopped in VZW and TMobile today. Both sales reps were unreceptive and one said the V30 isn't out yet they sell the V20.

LG and Verizon need to learn marketing and Customer Service......

I see Verizon marketing everywhere from football games, to commercials, to everywhere else I look. Why do you think they need to learn?

Or did you mean Verizon isn't promoting LG so therefore that is why they have to learn? I almost want to bet LG didn't pony much up so no real incentive for Verizon to push / advertise for them.

That's how I felt the first time I held my G6.. I completely forgot about the V20 at that very moment

The size is really perfect for me. I also felt the same way about the G6 but I wasn't close to my Jump eligibility at the time and I knew the V30 would be coming around this time of the year anyway.

Called MDF (market development funds). When Verizon or T-Mobile or any carrier run ads promoting a phone the ad is jointly paid for with MDF. If LG wants to market their phones they need to spend money. The only company holding back LG is LG.

Yeah so my main point was he was more so talking about LG marketing. Obviously Verizon can.
