I would suggest posting a new thread about your problem, so you might get some helpful suggestions to fix it.

Also again these phones get bogged down easily. Best suggestion is to backup your texts and save them. Reset your device.

Have you tried clearing the cache in the messaging app? (settings, apps, messages)

You know that you have a droid maxx when you unplug at 5:30 am, spend a lot of your day on the phone with significant amount of screen on time and turn by turn navigation, end the day at midnight with 28% left, and you think "wth is wrong with my phone" . . . =)

I gave up my unlimited data to order the ultra as my upgrade over the phone but the day I got the ultra i went to Verizon and got the droid maxx I put the extra $150.00 on my charge card.

I need a car mount with a charge port for my maxx. Note Verizon gave me 6 GB for 30.00 a month regular price is $ 80.00 data plan.

Just picked up the Maxx and so far so good. The battery life is impressive and no matter how much I use this device it goes all day with ease!
