Well I pulled the trigger and just bought a Galaxy Note 2 titanium Grey. Sold my iphone 5 to pretty much pay for it. Setting it up and just learning. My second go with Android. This phone is big but not that bad.

Welcome! I bet in a week if you use someone else's phone it will seem tiny :)

I came from the iPhone 5 too! But I missed my iPhone 5 too much that I now have both phones. I missed its simplicity... got tired of the customizing on Android. But then again Android has NFC s-beam and multitask. Sigh, why can't they both be fit into one device :(

I had the iPhone 4 and then the iPhone 5 and I don't miss it. The Note 2 can be as simple or complex as you want. If you want simple keep it simple. Don't add a bunch of stuff you don't need. I have learned from previous android phones to keep it clean. I'm not cluttering up my phone this time. I'm keeping what I need front and center and everything else is kept back.

Enjoy your new phone. It's amazing.

^ good suggestion!

I actually have my Note 2 setup with the same folders/apps as I had on my iPhone. I do have widgets now but it's a good thing!

Simple isn't all about looking simple. Some things in the software is simply easier to access and do on iOS. But the Note 2 just has so much more features and so much more potential... it kills me to have to choose between one. For example you actually have a file explorer like on the computer... absolutely great. And if you can't open some files you can download an app and select open with, whereas in ios you can't do that at all. oh, and the battery on the note 2 is sick as ****. But then again the iPhone 5 is small and compact and just "easy".

I came from the iphone 4s to the note 2. Yeah things are simple on the iphone I sometimes I miss that but the iphone doesnt let you do anything. Simple things like viewing a photos details cannot be done. Sending a file over bluetooth. These are things that I could do on my 10 year old nokia.

Just switched from iphone to note 2 with 0 regrets. Ios is just boring as phuck and been the same with little updates since 2007. They have potential but apple needs to get creative. Lol maybe ill give it a second chance for ios7.

Congrats. I came from an iPhone 4 and it sits on my desk as a backup. My wife got the white one and I got the titanium grey. Just picked up the dock from Future Shop a couple of days ago since my Best Buy shut down. Best dock I've owned and the big screen is great for navi.

So what do you think after a few days?

Same here. Now my problem is that all the screen looks small to me.

Im loving it so far. Still getting used to typing and having the numbers on top instead looking for them on the next page on ios. Love the swype keyboard. The 5.5 inch screen is great. Slips into my pocket easy. Dont like how slippery the back feels. Ill get a slip case to fix that. Best part I actually get good service in my house. I NEVER get good service with any phone I've had lol

Samsung is much better than Apple. Apple thinks they should have it all. There should be regulations on.law suits.

The best advice for anyone new to Android or any new OS!!

Congrats and welcome to a whole new way to mobile computing.
:D

I am getting ready to jump back to android from iphone 4. I love the iphone but I hate having to jailbreak to do get things that come standard on android plus there's so much more that can be done with the note 2. The size does scare me a little but I've read so many favorable reviews and I am so looking forward to the change. And I love being back in the android forums :)
