Samsung Pay is a fail, for me at least. Won't suport a major US bank... Chase. That's a rather big mistake imo.

Samsung Pay should have been in beta until all the top major US banks were onboard, working out the kinks. Launching production to a very limited group works when the userbase is small...Samsung and making Pay a key feature is not a small userbase. But it doesnt really matter to me, im Canadian and the probability of this coming anytime soon is highly unlikely.

Oh I didn't know it was official lol

It just launched, they will be adding more banks, don't jump off the ship just yet

It takes time for them to gain support. Apple didn't have all the banks at once either. They have to work with them to get them on the system.

Oh I understand that, just seems they should have had all their ducks in a row prior to releasing. Oh well.

If they waited to have every single bank on board it would take way too long. I wouldn't say not supporting a bank is a reason to not launch.

I agree. I don't think people should have to miss out just because a certain bank isn't supported.

None of my cards are supported at this time. Hope they get supported soon. I'm interested in trying this out.

I don't understand why they need to get banks on board. Android pay doesn't they have visa and MasterCard and as long as your bank card has a visa logo it should work. I'm quite sure Google wallet aka android pay doesn't have bb&t on board just visa. My card should work on Samsung pay bc visa is on board and I can run my card as credit. However it doesn't . I'm very disappointed in Samsung this
Was the main reason I got this phone.

Well you are wrong about Android Pay. Google Wallet had that, Android Pay does not. Android Pay doesn't have just Mastercard and Visa, but the banks, because that takes Google out of the middle of the transaction, and that is per Google.

Same thing with Samsung Pay.

Yeah this was my initial thought as well. That it was the cc companies not the banks, but no, it's the banks....

My bank doesn't support Android pay. Only apple pay with credit card, not debit. I was still able to add the card.

No, Android Pay doesn't work with all cards as long as they have the Visa or MC logo, mine doesn't work and it's for the main bank of where I live and it's part of the Verified by Visa program.

Yes, they need to get the banks on board because based on my experience adding my cards in Samsung Pay, the bank MUST allow Virtual cards transactions, in fact, the ones validating the card are not Samsung are the banks.

Exactly.. Even the card that I used tap and pay with on Google Wallet, doesn't work on Android Pay.

Change banks :). I would email Chase and tell them to support that apps and platforms you enjoy using, or you will simply change your business to a bank that will.

From day one Samsung Pay was supported on 3 of the 4 credit cards I have and all 3 have worked flawlessly from the day I first scanned them. I have made over 100 transactions without a single issue, the app is perfect. It's also enjoyable watching peoples reaction to the transaction happing so fast their amazement never get's old.
