That's a weird app update message though. Usually they just tell you there's an update available.

Must have been some security-related bug... Or something that breaks the Marshmallow update if you don't have it.

Did anyone's phone act weird after this pop up? I did the update and then a few hours later my phone turned itself off a cpl times. And then it wouldn't charge at all. Tried about 6 different chargers and outlets and sources and nothing until the next day when I took it sprint and he turned it on and plugged it in. I had to buy a brand new charger and block. Haven't seemed to have a problem since but it was very frustrated being without a phone

I have to chuckle a little on how long this thread is, on an update that took about 5-10 seconds to update for me and the phone didn't even restart. I'm just saying.

I got a Software Update message with no clear reference to who published it or what is updated. I'm afraid it might be a virus and not a real update. Galaxy not 5. Did anyone also get the same?
