Wells Fargo payment failure

This was my first attempt to pay with my Wells Fargo card since adding it. I have been successfully using my American Express for a while now.

I just tried to pay with my Wells Fargo card. It was declined on both credit and debit.

American Express went through as usual.

Any thoughts?

Make sure you entered the card information correctly and have a digital signature.

I didn't actually do anything different. It just started working!

I've had that happen with some Citi cards. They don't work, Citibank doesn't see anything on their end that would cause it to fail, then it starts working again.
