went blank when read Portrait on nexus 10

I have a problem issue on nexus 10 when I using portrait to read or watch youtube on nexus 10, it sometime went blank and automatic lock and I have not unlock again but few second again it lock again. But when I turn to landscape usage, it show no problem.

anyone has this kind of issue. any advice to resolve this issue. thank you

when you turn it are you covering a sensor somewhere along the bezel?

Sensor? where to off the sensor? I do not cover the sensor. I just hold upright in portrait to read news but it off suddenly and I have to unlock again.

could it be inactivity? Perhaps when holding the Tablet in landscape you are touching the screen in a way you do not touch it in portrait? Check Settings>Display>Sleep and see what setting the screen is set to shut off at.

Sleep display is at 30 min.

is it bc of the casing? magnetic from the casing makes ur tablet to autolock?
