Were the new batt life times discussed from the new FW?

The comparison chart at the beginning of this thread shows the battery numbers. I read a post this am on AC (sorry I can't find it now) that had a link to the VZW developer page and it had the specs on the phone. The battery numbers on that page were significantly higher than the numbers on this chart. Now if I could only find that link for you.

I'm just having a tough time believing that talking on the phone for 5 1/2 hours will last. I mean it seems plausible, but It should be the same shouldn't it if it was just data IE: pandora since it just hammers the crap outa the radio.

If i can use it for 2 hours of heavy use and then extremely light for the rest of the day w/o a recharge, then I wouldn't care.

If you can find the link on the dev page, then please go for it. Also those batt life times on the chart were quoted from verizon weren't they? Though the reason they didn't want to release the phone was because the batt life was significantly less than the posted time.

I was checking out the Wirefly prices and they had a full spec sheet on the TB, including battery life. I don't know where their info came from since it's not published, but it's there.

I may be mistaken, but voice calls aren't using the 4G LTE network, correct?
I thought I heard that 4G LTE was for data ONLY on this phone and that Verizon hasn't rolled out the 4G LTE Voice service yet.

Well that sucks because 90% of my week (home and work) is in an lte area

I'm in the same boat.. I live and work in the Detroit area which is an LTE area... so i'll pretty much always be covered with 4G unless I go out of town. I'll probably use wi-fi at home though and keep 3G chosen when i'm out, unless i'm doing something that requires 4G.

That, and charge at home, in the car, and at work.. lol.

Same here... If I have to wait for the Bionic.. I might just lose touch with reality.:'(

I've decided to wait on the Droid 3 (love me some keyboard!)

Was looking at the Thunderbolt to get my wife off her Eris.

Thunderbolt developer page:

HTC Thunderbolt

"Digital Usage: 398min.
Digital Standby: 227hrs"

Per their developer webpage. Those numbers look impressive or acceptable. Just hope real life numbers are similar....Time will tell.
