My tags and artwork is edited on a pc before reaching my device. Besides that is there any advantage to player pro? By the time music is on my device, I press play and pause.I use PlayerPro. I had been using PowerAmp for a long time but tried PlayerPro out a few months ago on my V20 and I love it. Album artwork management is awesome. Also has a great built in tag editor. The Samsung music player is too basic. I used to use it on my S4 and S5 but once I discovered PowerAmp, I realized how limited the stock Samsung player is.
Crossfading is a nice feature too. I generally keep my music on shuffle and let it go. Crossfading makes a smooth transition between songs. That's a big one for me. You might be fine with the stock Samsung player. To each his own. I like being able to edit album art and tags right on the phone if I need to, rather than doing it on the computer first.
