What about no camera on the inside screen

Subjective but the bottom line is his camera is not better than the previous so it's a downgrade. I understand you don't want to see the punch hole but that's visual. That has nothing to do with the camera itself. So if you want to have no punch hole at least have a camera that's as good as the previous in this method. That's my point..
That's a valid point. I don't know why Samsung didn't make the mp the same as the fold 2. I assumed it was not possible due to the under screen camera. I don't want the under screen camera go away, in fact I would like to see it continue on the s series coming up.

I think they will improve on it ..they are good at what they've done from one Fold on to the next one ...overall the improvement for users is climbing in the right direction..

Honestly, I have used the inside cameral exactly ONCE and that was on a Zoom call and I saw NO ISSUES with the quality of that camera. Since then, I just don't use a Cam at all and that works nice for me (I am not required to have video on calls for work).

If you are still using the inside camera vs the outer front facing or rear cams for the real work, you're doing it wrong?

I guess I am past the point where I care what my phone cameras are like. When I need something great, I use my 4k Web Cam or a DSLR if I need the best shots possible. I never rely on my phone to attempt ultra-pro camera work because it will never live up to a device that is specifically designed for those tasks and trying to compare them is pointless.

Please note, that is just MY personal stance and should not be taken as a "this is how everyone should think" kind of comment. :D

I use the inside camera for video conferences and calls and it was absolutely fine for those so I wouldn't want them to get rid of it since I find a lot of utility in having a video conference/call with the big screen rather than be stuck with the cover camera.

When you have a video conference and someone shares their screen or document, you will really appreciate the big screen and not having to go blind squinting at the cover screen that is already small.

Seeing the tech that goes into the in display camera, I don't really think removing it will give you more much more room for battery, or other features.

I don't mind how the cameras are now except while I think the main cameras are good, they could definitely be better.

Punch holes don't bother me as much as some others folks, so the lower resolution space for the in display doesn't bother me at all.

Well said. I know the removal of the camera won't make room for a bigger battery, I was just saying what if it could.

I feel camera improvements should be concentrated on the rear camera. The front and inside are mostly selfie and conference calls. I don't think we need high megapixels for those cameras. I agree with you here.

Guys, if Samsung had put on Fold 3 the best possible camera in the inner screen; microSD card slot; s pen silo; 5000+ mAh battery... How would they sell us the Fold 4?

I'm pretty much sure the majority of these improvements will be available next year, and a lot of people will upgrade or buy the next Fold because of it

I agree 100%. Samsung has learned a lot from apple in this department over the years.

So true

I know some will argue that they NEED a quality inner cam, and some edge cases may need it, but if that is REALLY THAT important to you, get a phone that meets your needs and not get a phone that you clearly understand does not meet them all and them come complain about it.
