What about the Mate 10?

I had a Huawei Mate 9 before this S8+ and it was great. The problem I had was no full device encryption or AMOLED.

The Mate 10 is on my radar. Anyone else?

Ya. I'll be watching on the 15th. Looks to be a beast and i too had the Mate 9. That unit had a random reboot issue though. I dont normally like large phones but if it has very thin bezels, it may work. They are sure talking it up. We shall see. Most here wont be into non "stock" android though

Pixel 2 is average, nothing special tbh. i got the Mate 9 and that's the only good phone atm, at least for me, Mate 10 will be unveiled next week, but the pro version will be way overpriced.

I'm waiting for the mate to be announced before i make a decision. Right now, the xl is slightly ahead of the note 8 for me but with the right specs, carrier compatibility and price i will definitely consider the mate.

If the mate 9 is any indication, I'll have to lose the removable battery from my v20 but get to keep the ir blaster and sd card slot. Bummer that none of these 3 phones support TMobile's 600mhz spectrum though
