Found out that Incredible does not support Picasa like the N1 does with Gallery. Discovered that Flickr is the program of choice for the Incredible.

Went to upload some of my picture albums to Flickr so I could have them on my phone and lo and behold, there's a monthly limit! I was surprised because the week I had my N1 last January, I had literally hundreds of photos on the phone through Picasa and not a word about some small monthly limit. I don't feel like paying $25 for the Flickr unlimited plan and hence my question of the day....

What other program is out there that will do what Picasa did?

I have an unlimited Flickr account and I love it. I was actually very happy to learn that the Incredible synced with Flickr, though I can understand you wanting to avoid the fee. I can't think of any other services off the top of my head, at least not ones that would natively sync with Android. There are workarounds to get your Picasa account synced with the Incredible though. Try searching either the forums or Google (I don't know the methods, as I use Flickr, but I know they're out there...)

install the 3d gallery apk on your phone and then you'll have picasa on your Inc.

how does the incredible not support picasa natively? if you hit the "share" button on a picture one of the listed options is to upload to picasa. works great too. am i missing something?

yeah I see mine will share to picasa as well (don't use it as I've a Pro account on Flickr though)

in the 3D Galley app you actually have a folder that shows all the pics you have on Picasa. the stock photo's app only allows you to upload them to picasa, not view the pics you have on picasa on your phone.

It there any way to add/download the photos on Flickr/Picasa back to your phone? The native Flikr App does not allow it

I use photobucket. I haven't used it alot with a phone, but I don't recall any monthly limits. The app for the phone seems to work quite well. Has some ads in it, but they really don't bother me.

the 3D gallery app shows your picasa pictures on your phone. idk about flickr.

ok, so I'm a newb to android and smart phones in general, if I download that link, then what do I do to get it on my phone?

download astro file manager from the market and install it from your SD card.
