Question What am I doing wrong?

I want to transfer data from my android 13 phone to my windows pc via bluetooth but I can't get anything to work. I've seen numerous videos on how to do this & I've got both devices paired up. I'm now looking into getting a usb A to C cable but I forgot I was a member of this site, so I figured I'd ask a question before my frustration gets out of control.

You say it worked but then go on to say, though, as if there's more you want to do or this did some but not everything you wanted. Did this do all you wanted or is there something else you want to do?

What files are you trying to move? Why Bluetooth and not your cable?

You can move discrete files (e.g., documents, images, videos, etc.) to the PC, but you won't be able to move app data or system data.

If you are planning to transfer a lot of data, Bluetooth is the last thing you want to use. It is terribly slow for this kind of thing.

Either use a cable, or try Google's Quick Share feature. For Quick Share, you'll need to have the phone and computer on the same local network and download the companion program to your computer, but that will let you transfer via Wi-Fi, which would be the fastest way to transfer files.

Hello Golf. I was planning on moving some important data from my phone to my pc. I'll have to buy the proper usb transfer as the only one I have now is the charging cable
