What apps are safe to remove?

So now its been 3 months with my MAXX and there are stock apps from VZW that would like to know if they are safe to remove and free up some space.

i.e
Amazon, Amazon Kindle, Amazon Music, Amazon app store, Ingress, Play Newsstand, Play movies & TV, VZ Navigator, (I use WAZE or goggle maps)

and how do you REMOVE or STOP the Back Up Assistant that starts up when I plug the phone into a PC.

You can go into setting>application>all and disable the apps. Only way to delete is to be rooted.

You can definitely disable all of those apps. I have disabled all but Amazon Kindle on that list (I use it) and the phone runs fine.
