Now that I have had this phone for a couple months I have to say the only thing I really can't stand about it is the speaker. Not loud at all. Otherwise I'm pretty happy about it so far.

I just wish it had a notification LED. That is my only complaint really and I've now owned my 7.1 for 6 months.

This. But phone is great. I don't regret my choice.
Sometimes I feel the keyboard is slow to respond but I love this phone.
Tony, try out the BlackBerry keyboard, I've never had any problems with it and I just couldn't use anything else. Maybe because I was using BlackBerry's for nearly ten years.

The bottom chin bezel. If you're going to have a chin make it funtional with android nav buttons and FPS - like oneplus 3. A gesture for flashlight would be nice like moto shake.

Overall happy with n7.1, but Nokia will have a hard time competing with pixel 3a going forward.

For me, I'm really liking the battery life and the 64GB on-board device storage. Also, just as important the Android One experience. No bogus apps that suck the life out of the battery and diminish the handset's performance. As well no annoying skin trying to give you an almost Android experience. With the Nokia 7.1 you get an actual Android experience.

The software updates and security patches, goes without saying.

I love the design and at the price it really looks and feels like a premium device... though to be honest I don't really care that much, because I put on a case and screen protector before I even turned on and took the device out of the box. (Got the gloss steel with copper accents version)..

Sure, coming from a BlackBerry Android device, I miss the LED notification light, the dual speakers, the BlackBerry Hub, Keyboard and a few other features...but I can learn to live without them...

Each device is different so I keep that in mind. Besides, I hope that HMD Global and Nokia succeed so I can stick with them for my future devices.

Well it took nearly a month to update to pie out of the box, so as its only a stand by phone it has to be the big Google search bar that cant be removed unless you use another launcher. At least on my moto g7 power you can just remove the darn thing and free up screen space. In fact the wife used it for only a day and couldn't stand that search bar so much she's gone back to her moto E5 play.
