I'm using Cricket on the AT&T network. They have notified me my phone will no longer work as of February 2022 when they switch from 3G to 4G. I'm looking at the OnePlus Nord N10 5G, but I'd like the pros and cons of smartphones in that price range before I make a final decision. What are your recommendations?

Upgrade because you actually want to or there's a need to, don't just do it because it's available. Like the bumper stickers state, "Don't fix what isn't broken."

According to 10 vs 11 comparison, here is what is added with 11:
Screen recording
Better permissions settings
Messaging bubbles
5G app support
Captive portal API
Shared datasets
Wireless debugging

I use my phone primarily for calls and texts, playing back audio books and some web searches and basic photos, so I don't see how any of the 11 improvements would add to my usage. Based on what you are saying, I'd probably be better off just sticking with 10. If you believe a feature would be an asset to me, please let me know which feature and how it might help.

Thanks for the feedback. I understand Nord N10 updates addressed Android 11 issues. Do you think that's what smoothed it out? Do you see any advantages of 11 over 10, or should I just stick with 10 till something better is developed?

Here's a breakdown of the changes:

I personally don't care for the visual overhaul, although they're not over-the-top like One UI.
