What are the random apps installed on Android Go without me downloading anything?

It is the second app already that is popping up: first one named Pain, the second is Surp with permissions to access my contacts, modify my SD card files and lots of other scary things, that I never authorized or was aware of. When opening it in settings it says "Installed from Settings" rather than "Installed from Play Store" like my normal regular apps. What is the source of them? I can sure remove them whenever I notice them, but how to stop it from happening? They have so many permissions that they can do great damage before I uninstall them.
