Thanks for the explanation!Short answer: No, they won't fit.
Let me try to explain, it can be a little confusing.
Phones to this point used USB-A (charger/PC end) to MicroUSB (phone end).
USB-C is a new, reversible connector that is being adopted. it CAN actually replace both ends, or just one.
HTC includes this cable: USB-A (charger/PC end) to USB-C (phone end).
Other phones (like the Nexus 6p): USB-C (charger/PC end) to USB-C (phone end).
I think HTC made the right move, as it'll mean people don't need to replace their current chargers and PCs (which probably all have USB-A connectors on them). The only change is on the end that goes into the phone, so you just need new cables.
Is the HTC 10 water resistant?
I'm sorry but really who is asking if there is USB C port and if there is a removable battery, how much ram is there are these questions real. I noticed they are not by registered folks seems spamish. No matter how many times someone post the specs sheet these one off questions how many megapixels is the camera, is it regular USB. Folks that are asking questions about USB type C would know how to look at the spec sheet on the website here, or HTC website. What is going on here?
When I get the HTC 10, what will it come with?
The exact same thing was done in the LG forum and in the Samsung forum. One day they posted in the edge forum asking how to turn their phone off because it had been frozen for 2 days. 5 minutes later this same person posted in the LG forum asking how to turn off the G5 because it had a virus. I agree with you. I find the multiple postings of the same thing in all the forums strange.I'm sorry but really who is asking if there is USB C port and if there is a removable battery, how much ram is there are these questions real. Thanks for the info. I couldn't understand how 1 person was having problems with so many different phones.Just as an FYI -- The AC Question account is an anonymous account people can use to ask questions so it isn't always the same person. Hence you seeing what you saw.
