What are these updates in Playstore. These updates get terrible reviews!

System apps that is required by Android. Not sure what the reviews are about, as you don't do anything with them. They are system services needed for the phone to work.

I've had no problems with those updates. And, yes, there have been several in the past few weeks.

Webview did have an issue last year when it caused several apps to not function properly, but that was fixed with a follow-up update a few days later. I've seen no issues with any subsequent updates.

I updated System Webview 6 days ago & System Intelligence (that name ) yesterday.

I have not noticed any problems.

Android System Webview has been around forever, and is how apps can access the web using a basic browser functionality. It's updated very frequently. Every now and then, an update can cause buggy behavior for certain devices, but it's usually fixed fairly quickly -- feedback to Google about any bugs can help.

Thanks for the link. I knew what the System Webview was about, but didn't have a clue about System Intelligence. I thought it was a new system app & didn't realize it was a rename of Device Personalization.
