What are you doing when your phone reboots?

The 3 I have had in the past 12 hours were. On the drive home sitting on the charger (not being used), just answered a call and while surfing Facebook. I thought pulling the battery helped but that only lasted a day and the random reboots started again.

My TBolt usually reboots when using the GPS and browsing the Market. From what I have noticed with my phone, all my reboots occur when a data intensive operation is occurring, ie. downloading multiple apps from marketplace while surfing the web. Coincidence?? Who knows...

Good stuff. There does seem to be an issue with data intensive apps ie. gps or streaming media. The seemingly idle reboots could be do to programs accessing data in the background. In an effort to improve GPS it appears they have broken something. My GPS is actually worse than before the update.

I only get 1-2 reboots a day. I'm not sure why some of you are experiencing many more.

I changed my skin to the slate after several reboots a day. It hasn't reboot scense and its been a week.

Mine usually reboots when I'm doing nothing, but there are other occasions where it has while I was using it. I'd had a few a week since I got it. From stock to root with different roms it has always done it every so often. I don't have the update. It doesn't bother me that much, although I'd rather it didn't. I've had days where it did it 3 times in a day and then I've had a week where it didn't do it at all. Who knows.

I was making a call last night and mine rebooted. I'll have to pay attention to see if i have any kind of pattern.

No pattern for me. Rebooted once just an hour after finishing the update, wasn't running anything - was just sitting in my cupholder. Hadn't even unlocked the phone following the final reboot. Second was the same night, again just sitting there in the cupholder.

Third time was in the gas station, setting up GPS Navigation when I received a text message - went to check the text message and reboot.

Can't even remember the other ones but the most recent -- was in the car using GPS Navigation on the charger when it rebooted. Phone GPS may lock faster, but phone is not reliable as a GPS navigation anymore since I can easily miss my turn in the 3-5 minutes it takes for the phone to reboot.

When mine reboots I'm usually having a few cold ones while sitting in a lounge chair on my 200 foot yacht cruising for chicks.

Just had a reboot since I bought it yesterday and did the OTA. I was not doing anything with it, just sitting there on my desk. I had disabled GPS and I was on 3G.

I love this phone. I just hope this isn't a recurring problem or it gets fixed with a patch soon.

My phone is on wifi almost all of the time. The first time it rebooted I was on 3g, since then it has been on wifi the whole time and I have not had another reboot until last night when the power went out from a storm (so no wifi) and the phone rebooted 3 times within 4 hours. Since the power and wifi came back on my phone has not rebooted again. Odd...

I was streaming Pandora, slacker, tv shows at the same time while on 4g for an hour and no rebooting. I don't think its a data issue at all.
Mine does it automatically after 6 hrs from disconnecting charger

Mine typically does either when sending/using/reading an SMS or when sitting on it's own.. More so at work then other times/places.

after the update, it was rebooting 2 or 3 time in the day. once i did a factory reset, it stopped. however every time i put it in desk top mode, it will reboot.
