What are you using to unlock your s8?

It was dark in my bedroom last night and the iris scanner worked. It took a couple of seconds, but it worked.

What am I doing wrong with the FPS? It doesn't unlock the screen for me and I have it set to unlock. I still have to press at the home button and then swipe it open.

For the most part it stays unlocked with Smart Lock with it either connected to my car, watch, location at home. etc I discovered the long hard press on the home button to skip the lock screen which is great as it annoyed me having to essentially unlock it twice from both the AOD and then the lock screen. Otherwise I use the face recognition or the 4 digit code. Really haven't used the FPS.

Does the Face Recognizer work when you have sunglasses on?

Face recognition works too good when I'm at the gym. Had to turn it off so it doesn't unlock since I actually wanna use the media controls on the lock screen.

Face recognition and 4 digit password.
Not a fan of the iris scanner as its an ugly feature on this phone. I loved the iris scanner on windows phone, wish it was done the same way.

After using the Iris and FPS I'm now trying facial recognition and FPS to see which works best for me.

I use primarily Iris, but sometimes fingerprint if I just so happen to have my finger in the right spot.

Fingerprint since it's the quickest way to the home screen. All others are a 2 step process (unless I'm missing something)

BTW the location of the scanner works just fine if you have a case on it

There's an option in settings to go straight to Iris or facial unlock when you either hit the home button or power button. That makes it one step.
