What are you using your microSD for? Don't get your hopes up....

Re: What are you using your microSD for? Don't get your hopes up.

More to the point, where did you mention the GS3? Talk about looking ridiculous.

You come in bellyaching about your moto phone and infer that the same issues will occur on a Samsung phone.

Also, fwiw, MW3 is no where close to 3 GB in size.

Anyway, good luck managing to just squeeze Angry Birds onto your new GS3. The rest of us will likely manage just fine to load it with all sorts of games. ;)

First off, you are talking about your crappy D3 in the SGS3 forums when no one even mentioned the D3 and you call me FOS.. Second, If you read the actual discussion you will see that the issues will most likely be the same.. Thats the discussion. You aren't capable of following it but you come on here telling me I'm FOS when no one mentioned your phone, you don't have the issue to begin with, and simply do not know what you are talking about. The only thing you are right about is the size of MW3 which is 1.3.. I was off on that one.. It was Nova 3 I was thinking of which is 2 gigs. The entire point which is aparently lost to you is that the games are pretty huge and that, as is being discussed here that you cannot seem to follow, the new SGS3 may have the same internal partitions as other newer phones, which is where I mentioned the RAZR, which would prevent you from using the real SD card for anything except media files. Hopefully with it having 32 gigs most of the space will be in the fake SD extension so this really won't be an issue... Again thats part of the discussion.

I don't play Angry Birds so your wrong on that too :) Goodluck,..

First off,

First off nothing.

You wrote a bunch of fud in your first post and so I rightly claimed you?re FOS.

But let?s look at it.

First off, your RAZR comes with 16GB of storage. 3GB for programs, 8GB for storage and 5GB for system.

You have 8 GB available for those extra game files. Yet you claim you can?t even get two of them to fit.

Second, you claimed MW3 was 3GB. A fact you even acknowledge you were completely wrong about. Yet you still seem to take issue with someone calling you out on it.

I referenced the Droid 3 because it is also a Moto phone that has a similar storage layout. The individual allocation sizes are different, but the storage setup is the same as the RAZR.

Look, I?m not a big fan of the way they set these up either. I?d rather just have one large partition myself, but that still doesn?t change the fact that you were completely off base in your post.

Re: What are you using your microSD for? Don't get your hopes up.

Your missing the point. SD ext is our main partition and also our internal memory. The micro sd is seen as SD ext2. Or, not seen....

I'm not missing anything. As I said above, I wouldn't set it up this way if I had my choice, but it still doesn't change the fact that your-man above is completely wrong in his post.

We can all agree on the same outcome. But that doesn't mean we have to agree with incorrect comments and BS statements.

Can anyone confirm that the US version does not come with partitioned internal memory?
