What are your favorite cases for the HTC One M9?

I am seconding this! I wanted slim as possible for better grip, as I have small hands; I wanted a kickstand. That narrows choices a bit. I purchased the Spigen Slim Armor from Amazon. It arrived today. The grip is not very tacky - at all. I will have to hold it tight as I would the phone without the case. The kickstand rocks, well... kickstands in general rock. So it looks good, feels pretty good and is sturdy. But I really am disappointed that the surface is not more secure.

I really like my otterbox defender case
It is a sturdy case that feels nice
The four boxes on the case for the holster sometimes feel weird in the hand, but you get used to them

Just got a Seidio case and belt holster for my new M9. My 3rd Seidio; they're not cheap but darn near indestructible.

Guys, anyone with Otterbox Commuter case?
I previously owned the Otterbox Commuter for M7 and has been happy with it, so I just bought another one for my M9.

However, after using the new case for few days I noticed the rubber part felt stiff, compared to flexible and nice-to-press rubber in my HTC M7 Otterbox.

I kinda worried if I happen to bought a fake Otterbox.

Generally:
1. Price is rough the same with retail I find in Amazon/Otterbox site
2. Box looks okay, but I don't have anything to compare.
3. The case feels okay and solid, again I have nothing to compare. I only noticed the rubber is stiffer just because I own similar Otterbox for previous model before.

My question is:
1. Is there any accurate way to distinguish original Otterbox from its counterfeit?
2. Is the rubber used on Commuter for M9 stiffer than that used in Commuter M7?

Any opinion would be appreciated, especially from those who owned the case for both M7 and M9.

Thanks! :)

In my opinion incipio dual pro is one of the best cases ever made for every smartphone. Used one with my m7. Now i am using otterbox defender with my m9 and it is a nice one and it is really a defender for my phone, but after some time the outer shell, which is made from silicon, loses its tickness... Still nice case, but may be commuter would be better choice, cause its outer part is hard.

Hi, I bought a "Commuter" case for my M9 just before Xmas and yes they do seem to be made with a firm and stiffer material than previous cases I have bought from OB. This is my first HTC device so I can't comment on cases for previous models.
As to its authenticity I can only say, do your homework first. Having said that Otterbox like many companies have a Hologram on the top of their case packages which when viewed will reveal that the first letter "O" is a different colour to the rest...
I am very happy with my new M9 case as it is the only case for the M9 that will allow me to attach the "Quadlock" Bike mount. Quadlock have stated on their website that the M9 is not compatible with their universal bike mount due to its curved back. The Otterbox commuter series for the M9 nine has changed that and I have been using it without any issues...

Is there any good cases that covers the ends of the phone so it can't scratch from falling? Thanks

Hi Jon

Did you have to cut a hole in your otterbox as recommended or just stick on top?

I own both otterboxes, both are gray & white, the defender and the commuter. Doesn't matter what I'm doing, tree stand / or going to a wedding, I'm covered.

Any more info on how the HTC Active case is holding up? And just wanted to confirm that it seals with a glass protector on it

When I p/u the commuter I had them put a glass on. Now when the defender case is on its different. But totally usable.

Otter Box, I shoot competition pistol and rifle withe my phone clipped too me. It has hit the ground in sand, on rocks and even flown off my dash out the window bouncing it's happy a$$ into a slide which ended when it hit the curb and flipped up onto the sidewalk sliding to a stop. Turn my truck around picked up my phone and it still looks brand new as I toss the screwed up case on the seat then slip it into my chest pocket.
