What AT&T data rate plan?

Hey yall,

With your N1 what data plan are you using with AT&T? Currently I have the data shutoff on my N1. I'm looking at getting a data plan and I have a few options. A $15 'Data Unlimited' plan and a $30 'Messaging and Data Unlimited'. I've been out of contract for several years so there's no ties there.

What are yall using?

You could try and get those plans but those are featurephone plans not smartphone plans. The data for a smartphone is $30 and unlimited texting is another $20. And yes they can tell by the IMEI on the phone and add the data plan if they choose.

When I was on AT&T and had an unlock myTouch 3G phone, I was only $9.99 a month for unlimited plan, for 3 months.

Now, I read some where that if your phone is unlock on AT&T's network, they can't make you get the smartphone unlimited data plan.

In my web interface for ATT I only get the two options. The $15 & $30 I mentioned earlier. Thanks for the info.
