What bloat can I "safely" remove

Can anyone one confirm it is safe to remove VZ Navigator and My Verizon from the Inc without it causing issues?

I did multiple searches but no luck.

i removed all that and had no problems. I suggest you try some roms though, they cut the bloat and in my experience make the whole phone snappier. If you like your stock sense, try uncommon sense, almost like the stock experience, just snappier and cuts the crap you dont need!

Is there any way to remove the bloatware then return to "stock" ,unroot minus
the junk?
I'm not interested in kernels, roms, etc but it would be nice
do remove the crap apps VZW won't let you uninstall normally.

Once you unroot you will get all the junk back Just stay rooted

I can attest the rooting and removing of junk is easy and painless. After that why unroot?

I feel the same way about it as you, I like Sense and Froyo, just not the stuff they forced onto the phone. I can accept a certain amount of stuff but not crap like vz navigator and skype...just bugged me i guess.

If there's a OS update or i need to take it in for replacement (hope i just didn't jinx myself) then and only then would i got back to un-root...otherwise it runs just like it always did...smooth like a silk sheet.

There's some good instructions at XDA...think the thread is called "ultimate get back to stock" or something along those lines...i read through it...seems pretty easy to follow along.
