What can I expect switching from HTC to Samsung

So I'm thinking if getting the new Galaxy S7 maybe edge. Thing is I've been HTC for 2 phones now a.K.a 4 years of HTC so I'm not sure of what to expect and how fast or slow to get used to.

You'll be fine. There will be a little getting used to the UI since Sense and TouchWiz are slightly different in their own way. The S7 still has a physical home and capacitive buttons, so that'll take some adjustments. But beyond that everything else should be fine. Are you getting the Edge variant?

Actually, they cleaned up a lot of it, there are fewer lame elements (like still not giving the choice of making an app a default target or not) and it still fights against its own weight... But there are worse out there (like EMUI).

I like pure android myself. I got blackberry priv with stock android bought nova launcher and I am extra happy. I enjoy fluid os.
