Really? I would have thought that you liked the Ballistic Maxx more. Saw your drop tests a while ago and was going to order the Ballistic but it is so damn ugly and the colors are awful. So I'm thinking Defender now - IF the fit is good without the screen protector.

I ended up ordering a Seidio active case in purple to replace the Incipio Faxion. I also ordered the TechArmor screen protector. They fit well and offers a competitive feel to a naked screen. No rubbing with the Active Case.

I REALLY like the UAG cases and want to settle on it for its size and protection, but can you tell me how easy or tough it is to take it out of the case? It looks (from the reviews I have seen) very easy to put on, which is good. But I am going to stick with my desk and car charger (Infuse ones AT&T had on a ridiculous sale awhile back that is supposed to fit the GS3 as well) and they dont accept cases. I also wish they had a blue option.

Just got the Rearth Ringke SLIM LITE (Matte Black) on Amazon for $9.99! I was surprised that the price dropped down so much. It's very thin and the front part juts outwards by A LITTLE BIT, just enough so your screen won't touch the surface if you put your phone face down.

I'm using a black Seidio Surface case. It gives good protection and makes my S3 feel secure in my hand. I'm able to operate the S3 one-handed with this case. This my 3rd Surface case over the past four years (BlackBerry, Atrix 4G, and now S3). The only problem I've had is that it fits so snuggly that it made a mess of the edges of my InvibleShield HD screen protector. Also have the Seidio holster, the only holster I've been able to find for the S3. Don't like the plasticy feel but better than nothing. I got rid of an Otterbox Commuter case after using it for four days. It made the phone feel too big for easy handling and it was very slippery and felt insecure.

switched from using an otterbox commuter to the Urban Armor Gear case. Man, this case is slim, yet feels rugged enough like an otterbox. the hard plastic material is great, and does not get any fingerprint smudges. Love the design, as it looks very robotic. wish they would make the yellow/black for SGS3 like they have for the iphone 4s.

picked this up from these CASE123 guys; they sell them cheaper than amazon if you factor in shipping.

Just thought I would say again how I like the flip Cover. Perhaps it isn't for everyone. I don't do much where my phone could get damaged so I don't have a need for a larger, more protective case anymore. The flip cover just goes so well with it and looks so sexy. Wish it didn't cost so much but I really like it.

Anyone tried any of the aftermarket flip covers? I see bad reviews for them, mainly complaining about how they tend to flip open on their own.
