What case are you using.

I bought a gs3 about 2 weeks ago, and need a case. I find it too darn slippery as it is. I don't mind a case that adds a bit of bulk, frankly I think the gs3 could use some. I'm looking at the uag specifically but reading some ppl saying that the uag is a bit slippery worries me.

I really like the perforated rubber lining on the back of my nexus 7. Is there something like that available for my gs3? Like I said, I think the bulkier the better. I think the sides of the iPhone are more comfortable as I find the tapered edge on the gs3 a little annoying when holding it.

BTW, I have the white gs3, so a case that matches nicely is preferred.

I had been using the elago G5 slim case for a while but went back to a black samsung flip case because I've been so paranoid about damaging my screen while using other cases. Not a fan of bona fide screen protectors. Don't like the feel, smudging, reduced sensitivity, etc.

OP should have set this thread up as a poll on the first page so we could try to see which case is most popular, that would have been nice or I spose I can read thru all 15 pages. Yeah I know there is a lot of types of GS3 cases but you could have put down several of the more known ones and then have an other catagory and they can post their brand.

Well I've tried a few cases, to see which one I might like best; the official Samsung flip cover and a couple of the cheap holster type cases. I like the holster type cases because they protect well and face inward and they actually attach the phone to your person so you can feel it on you and you know where it is. But it can catch on door jams and corners, furniture and stuff and rip your phone off you. Right now I am using the fiber composite UAG Urban Armour Gear blue version case for a pebble blue GS3. I like it cause the built in strength indents in it looks very similar to what the military uses to protect their laptop computers they take on deployments with them.

A friend just gave me a Great Shield iSlide and I really like it. Not slippery, buttons are open, thin and it has a deep lip so the glass is never close when setting the phone face down. Not bad for 10 bucks.

On my backup phone, a galaxy S3, I have a 2-piece Sapele wooden case from MOD-CASE. Dropped this phone from chest height yesterday - safe to say I'm proud of the fact that I have witnessed just how good the case protected the screen of my phone! Not a scratch on the phone and it landed straight onto a tiled floor!

I received my GS3 on two days ago and went straight out and picked up a OB Commuter case. I love the protection that it provides, but like others have said it is a somewhat slick. I guess it's kind of a trade off though because I'd rather have a case that slid easily out of my pocket than one could stick and get caught. I think I'll stick with the OB for a bit while I do a little more case research.

Currently I have an Otterbox Commuter but am considering a Lifeproof fre Case. It looks about the same size as the Commuter roughly. Just trying to justify to my self spending $80 on a case when I only spent $20 on the Otterbox Commuter LOL

I recently bought the Urban Armour Gear case. The white one on a white phone with black trim just looks so nice. It is low profile, however protects the phone really well.

I have a Defender case for work. I work at heights and keep the phone my breast pocket. Because of the rubber, it stays there. I can almost hang upside down and it won't fall out... I haven't tried that yet.

I removed the screen protector, and keep the screen naked. Not a single scratch, and I'm in some pretty nasty environments.

Away from work... Just a $4 skin.

I'm currently using a Gizmobies Skin, they are awesome, so many different variations soft to the touch, have a special skickyness to them so they don't slide around on a table or counter.
But after 3 years of use the front skin is letting go, so I just bought a carbon skin from Bodyguardz this morning, they look stunning... cant wait 'till it arrives.

I have a the Otter Box case but right now I'm going naked. To be honest, I hate cases. I just have them when I know I'm going somewhere I know is risky.
