What cases have you found?

Are you going to get it? For 80 bucks I will have to think on this myself.

Yeah I grabbed it should be here Wednesday. You're right 80 bucks is pretty steep for a case but it checks all the boxes for what I would want in a case for the fold so I'll see how it feels and looks if I'll keep it or not.

Please let me know how you like it.

It looks like a spring hinge. I'm not going back to that crap design. I'm sticking with the one piece design with Hinge support on the front and back. Way better design.

I've owned five other cases including Spiegen Slim Armor Pro. This one is hands down the best

Cenmaso Armor Case Designed for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 Case, Z Fold 3 Case with Hinge Protection,Heavy-Duty Anti-Fall Protective Case for Galaxy Z Fold 3- Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09R3X8NK...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU7051937
That case would be great if it had a place for spen. That's the one thing that is missing. I will say that the price is much better.

Yep. If they had an s pen model, I'd be all over it. But I'm picking function and protection over the s pen.

Well the Supcase case came in and looks amazing! It seems very rugged and should provide a bunch of protection against any falls, unless the phone is opened and it falls inner screen down. I actually accidently did just that yesterday, I fumbled my phone and messed up a couple of the pixels on the inner screen so its at the local repair shop getting fixed so I couldn't test the case out yet.

Ibreakufix?

Yup, love that place. I literally fumbled my phone and somehow a couple of stuck pixels happened on the inside screen, looked like a rainbow. Took it to UBreakiFix and they literally replaced the entire inside screen, outside screen and all sides and the hinge. The only thing they didn't replace was the brains and probably the battery. I guess since the phone was flawless everywhere else but those stuck pixels they thought it was a screen defect. It would have costed almost $800 but didn't cost me a penny lol

If anything should happen to my phone, I hope the Asurion policy through ATT will take care of me like that too. If not, ATT can go to hell and I'll leave them the second I get a chance.

Speaking of cases, I bought both Spigen Tough Armor and Slim. For hinge protection, I went with the Tough Armor, but the thicker frame surrounding the front outer display was just driving me nuts. Thought I would eventually not notice, but that never happened. I switched to the Slim case and then bought Spigen's film based hinge protector. It's just like the old Zagg film when they first started, which was exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the only way to get that was to get the glass screen protector that's proprietary shaped to fit only with the two cases I mentioned. I have it a shot at installation, but could not get it lined up to get all the gas bubbles out so I just threw it away.

Although I lose the beefy hinge protection, I can at least enjoy the functionality of the outer display again. The hinge protector never had the issue with the springs popping out and scratching the hinge, but I still got some slight scratches from plastic rubbing.

Just to point out, I had the rugged Spigen Slim Armor Pro on my phone when the phone broke. I wouldn't blame the case though, the phone was opened and landed face down on my countertop when the pixels got stuck/busted.
