what cases have you got so far

I'm liking the look on this also, great price, just thinking about how sturdy it is though against a drop.

Also looking at the Spigen Neo Flex screen protector, hmmmm.

Don't waste your money on that one, it's a disaster, myself and a couple of other people on here got it and all ditched it again within 48 hours

Boy, did iBlasson under estimate the demand on Samsung Note 8 Accessory Sales! I ordered a Unicorn Beetle Pro case through iBlasson's Amazon Store on September 1st and was told I'd have it between September 13th and 15th, in time to pick up my phone on the 15th at my AT&T Store. The 15th came and went and the tracking still had no update as to what was happening so I went and picked up the phone, paid stupid money for a no-name plastic case to carry me over and brought it home. On Saturday, 9/16 Amazon's Tracking slid back to 9/21. ??? I clicked "Return" and decided I'd try and find something else! On Monday, I got an eMail from iBlasson Customer Support asking if I'd please wait a bit longer, explaining that they had underestimated the popularity of the Note 8! At that point, I had calmed down and realized that my last 4 phones had iBlasson cases - what else was I going to buy? I agreed... it arrived today - September 23rd!

...AND I already had a tempered glass screen protector on the phone so I was worried about sensitivity with the iBlasson screen? I gently pressed on the inside of their screen and was able to pop it free from the frame so I could use JUST the frame with NO SCREEN! IF anyone is interested, it didn't take very much pressure at all - I did the sides first, then the ends - they just popped free from the frame like it had very little if any cement on it!

I was going to ask you about the frame. Was there any glue or residue left over from pushing out the screen protector? Is the frame plastic and does it push on the frame of the phone? Also, how bulky is the case?

I don't think it's bulky but I wanted a strong case... I don't care about looks like some people. Like I always say, I drive a Ford F350 Super Duty, not a Porsche... so my phone looks the part! Their ads give a pretty good picture of what it looks like...
No glue residue on the frame and it pushes over the top of the phone and right down into the case very nicely even without the plastic screen, but you do need it to complete the case!

How bad is the built in screen protector on the Supcase?

Sounds good! Ordered mine yesterday on Amazon. Should get it tomorrow. I love my Otterbox Commuter, but want something with a little bit more protection around the bezels and the s-pen & speaker area.

Well, I already had tempered glass so... the built in one is plastic. Not sure if it's that strong stuff like soda bottle plastic or just plain clear plastic. It has peel off protector sheets on it for whatever that's worth. I can't say what the S-Pen would do to it 'cuz I just immediately removed it and put it in the box.

1 Infreecs, 1 KK-tick, 2 NXET ( 1 gold 1 black ) 1 Abacus and a Spigen thin fit that I need to return

disregard my comment on this, as it transpires, the Spigen case was not the fault so I cancelled the return and am happily keeping it

wow I like how this case looks.

that's the one I got that I'm returning, for some reason it created a bit of condensation at the bottom triggering a *moisture in charging port* alert, it happened twice after about 3 hours with the case on, fault would clear after a couple of hours after removing phone fron the case

disregard my reply above, the Spigen case was not the cause after all, it just happened that I was using it the couple of times I got the error, return cancelled and happily keeping the case

Dude, MAJOR PROPS to you for sharing this. Got this exact case today and installed it. I think the screen protector is actually not too shabby, but I already have a Zagg Glass Curve, so I pushed it out and removed all of the glue residue. This case is absolutely PERFECT. It is firm, covers all of the edges. It's a keeper for sure. Thanks again!

No problem Scottie... glad you like it. I've had them all the way back to my Note 5 (I think the Note 5 was just a UB, not a Pro) and would be hard pressed to use anything else. They have saved my a## on many occasions and kept me from having to spend lots of repair money!

Welp. Love my Unicorn Beetle. I truly do. But, with the screen protector off, I found that the plastic frame was scratching my metal siding/frame on my Note 8. Decided to go back tot he Otterbox Commuter for the time being. The UB Pro was scratching the frame, I noticed it, but left it on, and it began scratching it even more. Bummer too because I love the case.

I'm expecting a call so I'm not going to try removing it now but the next time I can shut the phone off, I'll pull the case off and take a look. I just had it off a couple of weeks ago when the Samsung SD Card showed up and I didn't notice any scratching then but I'll look again... that's pretty weird!

Yea it was. The scratches can't be felt, but can be seen. I have the grey color with the natural metal frame.

Scottie, I just pulled mine apart - mine is black and there's not a single mark on it and the case has been on and off of it three times since September 30th. I am really puzzled as to why yours is doing that! What color is your case? If the case frame is darker than your natural metal frame, maybe it's dark plastic from the frame just leaving a mark and not really a scratch. Try rubbing hard with your thumb and see if the marks will rub off (if I'm right about the darker case, that is) - just a thought. My frame is super shiny gloss black and there are absolutely no marks or scratches from the frame. ???

I'm running a Spigen Tough Armour with a Whitestone Dome glass protector. So far I am very impressed by this setup.

My case is black and my phone is the orchid gray color. The frame is not painted and is a natural metal finish. The scratches aren't colored or anything. They're are scratches the same color as the frame. They're from the plastic frame rubbing up on the sides. Would've preferred the frame to be a softer TPU, like the Otterbox Commuter. I put my commuter back on. I love the Unicorn Beetle Pro, but don't want to scratch up my metal sides. I'll post a pic when I can. Still looking for the perfect case...
