What do i do if i dont have the service provider uicc

[Android Central Question]

I'm trying to unlock my Samsung galaxy a20 but when I select the 'uicc unlock' option, an error saying "sim unlocking could not be completed. Please try again later
Error: Internal error 407"
It also says I should contact customer service if it persists, which it is doing rn. Now if i don't have the carrier uicc, how can I get my phone unlocked?

Where did you purchase the device? You still on a payment plan for it?

Welcome to Android Central! You need to follow the unlock policy from the carrier that the phone was originally associated with.
