What do I do with an LG G6, unresponsive black phone screen?

I just got a LG G6 like 3 weeks ago and when I was on an app it just went black. I couldn't even turn on my phone. It was unresponsive. Then it suddenly came back on. And it was fine for maybe a minute. I was able to use it then. After a minute or so it went black again and now it won't come back on. I've tried pressing the on/off button but its still black. I've tired putting it on the charger but that doesn't seem to work either. It's still unresponsive and I don't know why. If anyone has a solution to this please reply ASAP with a good answer.

A bad battery, or battery connection? Some other internal fault?

take it back to the carrier store and get a replacement. sounds like you got a defective phone.
